Matrescence: A Series on Transition to Motherhood - Week 5
Join us for this 6 week series, as we normalize the challenges related to the transition to motherhood! Learn practical skills and strategies to regulate the nervous system and develop stronger coping skills in a nurturing and supportive environment. Each week we will focus on different techniques to support your well-being that help manage stress more effectively. Techniques include and are not limited to mindfulness, grounding activities and somatic experiences. All will focus on improving your overall well-being.
*Babies in arms welcome, crawlers must be attended at all times.
About your facilitator:
Julie Sitomer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. She is a member of Postpartum Support International and is trained in Brainspotting. Julie's vast personal and professional experience provide new mothers with practical hands-on support and strategies to feel comfortable and competent in their parenting journey.
